Air Register: Service and Repair

VENTILATOR GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Center

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the following parts:
a. Upper column cover Service and Repair

b. Instrument cluster Removal and Replacement

c. Switch panel Service and Repair

3. Remove the screws A.






4. Remove the switch panel while detaching tabs B.






5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Side

Driver-side

1. Through the wiring harness into the position shown in the figure, remove the side ventilator grille in the direction of arrow.






2. Remove the side ventilator grille.

3. When the installing the side ventilator grill, push it to the dashboard.

Passenger-side

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Through the wiring harness into the position shown in the figure, remove the side ventilator grille in the direction of arrow.






3. Remove the following parts:
a. Passenger-side front scuff plate Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

b. Passenger-side front side trim Front Side Trim Removal/Installation

c. Side wall Side Wall Removal/Installation

d. Center console box Center Console Box Removal/Installation

e. Console panel Console Panel Removal/Installation

f. Center console Center Console Removal/Installation

g. Shift lever knob (MTX) Service and Repair

h. Selector lever knob (ATX) Automatic Transaxle Shift Mechanism Removal/Installation

i. Shift panel Shift Panel Removal/Installation

j. Front console Front Console Removal/Installation

k. Side panel Side Panel Removal/Installation

l. Grove compartment Service and Repair

m. Passenger-side lower panel Lower Panel Removal/Installation

4. Remove the screws C.






5. Pull the passenger-side from vent duct, then remove the side ventilator grille cover.

6. When the installing the side ventilator grill, install the side ventilator grill cover, then push it to the dashboard.
