Rear Parking Brake Cable Removal/Installation

REAR PARKING BRAKE CABLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Loosen the adjusting nut. Adjustments

2. Remove the rear tunnel member. Service and Repair

3. Remove the TWC from the main silencer. Service and Repair

4. Remove the TWC from the TWC hanger rubber (main silencer side). Service and Repair

5. Remove the fuel tank protector. Service and Repair

6. Remove the insulator (No.2), insulator (No.3) and insulator (No.4). Service and Repair

7. Remove the clips.






8. Remove the rear parking brake cable from the front parking brake cable.

9. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

10. Install in the reverse order of removal.

11. After installation, inspect the parking brake lever stroke. Testing and Inspection









Rear Parking Brake Cable Installation Note

1. Pass the rear parking brake cable inside the rear ABS wheel-speed sensor wiring harness as shown in the figure.






2. Install the rear parking brake cable.

3. Verify that the end of the rear parking brake cable outer end is out of the caliper as shown in the figure.
