Front Parking Brake Cable Removal/Installation

FRONT PARKING BRAKE CABLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Remove the center console box. Center Console Box Removal/Installation

2. Remove the console panel. Console Panel Removal/Installation

3. Remove the center console. Center Console Removal/Installation

4. Remove the parking brake lever. Service and Repair

5. Remove the rear tunnel member. Service and Repair

6. Remove the TWC from the main silencer. Service and Repair

7. Remove the TWC from the TWC hanger rubber (main silencer side). Service and Repair

8. Remove the insulator (No.4). Service and Repair

9. Remove the clips.






10. Remove the rear parking brake cable from the front parking brake cable.

11. Remove the front seat. Front Seat Removal/Installation

12. Remove the front scuff plate. Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

13. Remove the rear scuff plate. Rear Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

14. Remove the B-pillar lower trim. B-Pillar Lower Trim Removal/Installation

15. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

16. Install in the reverse order of removal.

17. After installation, inspect the parking brake lever stroke. Testing and Inspection









Bolt and Front Parking Brake Cable Removal Note

1. Lift the floor covering around the parking brake lever installation area.

2. Remove the front parking brake cable installation bolts through the parking brake lever installation hole of the floor covering.

3. Remove the front parking brake cable through the parking brake lever installation hole of the floor covering.
