Door Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair

FRONT DOOR KEY CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. To access the glass installation bolt, adjust the position of the front door glass so that the height of the door glass towards the rear is approx. 105 mm {4.13 in}.






2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Remove the following parts:
a. Inner garnish Inner Garnish Removal/Installation

b. Front door trim Front Door Trim Removal/Installation

c. Front door speaker Front Door Speaker Removal/Installation

d. Front door glass Front Door Glass Removal/Installation

e. Front inner handle Service and Repair

f. Front door module panel Front Door Module Panel Removal/Installation

g. Front door latch and lock actuator Service and Repair

4. Remove the bolt.






5. Turn the front door key cylinder and move the tab to the notch. (1)






6. Remove the front door key cylinder.

7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
