Antenna, Radio: Service and Repair





ROOF ANTENNA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the following parts:
a. Front scuff plate Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

b. Rear scuff plate Rear Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

c. B-pillar lower trim B-Pillar Lower Trim Removal/Installation

d. Adjuster anchor cover Front Seat Belt Removal/Installation

e. Upper anchor of the front seat belt Front Seat Belt Removal/Installation

f. B-pillar upper trim B-Pillar Upper Trim Removal/Installation

g. Sub-trunk Sub-Trunk Removal/Installation

h. Trunk end trim Trunk End Trim Removal/Installation

i. Third-row seat Rear - Third-Row Seat Removal/Installation

j. Third-row seat belt lower anchor installation bolt Third-Row Seat Belt Removal/Installation

k. Cargo compartment light Service and Repair

l. Trunk side trim

m. Rear header trim Rear Header Trim Removal/Installation

n. Second-row seat belt upper anchor installation bolt Second-Row Seat Belt Removal/Installation

o. C-pillar trim C-Pillar Trim Removal/Installation

p. Assist handle Service and Repair

3. Partially peel back the seaming welts.

4. Partially peel back the headliner.
NOTE:
- Be careful not to make a fold-seam in the headliner.

5. Disconnect the antenna feeder No.2.

AM/FM/SIRIUS type






6. Remove the clip.

7. Remove the nut.

8. Press the roof antenna tabs in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure and remove the roof antenna in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure.






9. Remove the antenna rod.

10. Install in the reverse order of removal.

11. After installation, verify that the roof antenna is installed to the roof panel without any gaps.
