DRIVER'S SEAT CUSHION TILTS FORWARD WHILE SEATED

DESCRIPTION
Some customer's may experience that the driver's seat cushion gradually inclines forward when seated with the seat lifter in the full up position. This is caused by inadequate mechanical strength of the rear link (A) on the seat adjuster unit. To increase the strength, the rear link on the seat adjuster unit has been hardened.
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Ven~ customer concern.
2. Remove the dnver's front seat cushion pad. Refer to MS3 online instructions section 09-13 FRONT SEAT CUSHION TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.
3. Remove the four seat cushion trim fixing bolts (A).
4. Detach the edge of the seat cushion trim from the seat cushion frame groove to remove the seat cushion frame, then replace the seat cushion frame with a new one.
5. Remove the dnver's seat back components. Refer to MS3 online instructions section 09-13 FRONT SEAT BACK COMPONENT [VEHICLES WITHOUT POWER SEAT SYSTEM] REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.
6. Replace the dnver's seat slide adjuster with a modified one.
7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
8. Verify repair.
