Evaporative Emissions Air Separator: Testing and Inspection

EVAPORATIVE CHAMBER INSPECTION [MZI-3.7]

1. Remove the evaporative chamber. Service and Repair

2. Plug the port C.






3. Verify that there is air flow from port B when pressure is applied to port A.

- If there is no airflow, replace the evaporative chamber. Service and Repair

4. Remove the plug of port C.

5. Plug the port B.






6. Verify that there is air flow from port C when pressure is applied to port A.

- If there is no airflow, replace the evaporative chamber. Service and Repair

7. Remove the plug of port B.

8. Verify that there is air flow when vacuum is applied to port A.






- If there is no airflow, replace the evaporative chamber. Service and Repair
