Solenoid Valves Inspection
Inspection Of Resistance (On-Vehicle)
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the fresh air duct and air cleaner component.





3. Disconnect the solenoid valve connector.








4. Measure the resistance between the following terminals.
^ If it is out of specifications, inspect the ground, then perform the operation and the part inspection.
ATF temperature: -40 - 150°C (-40 - 302°F)
5. Connect the solenoid valve connector.
6. Install the air cleaner component and fresh air duct.
7. Connect the negative battery cable.

Inspection Of Operation
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the solenoid connector.

Note: When inspecting the pressure control solenoid, connect the GND connection to the GND terminal (I terminal) of the pressure control solenoid inside the solenoid valve connector. Do not apply voltage for more than three seconds.

3. Apply battery positive voltage to terminal A, B. C, F, or G and battery negative voltage to GND.
^ If operating sound is heard from each solenoid.





4. Apply battery positive voltage to terminal D and battery negative voltage to terminal I, and verify that operating sound is heard from solenoid.
^ If the "click" is not heard, replace the solenoid valve.
