Thermostat: Service and Repair

THERMOSTAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the flesh air duct.
4. Drain the engine coolant.
5. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Thermostat Installation Note





1. Install the thermostat into the thermostat case with the jiggle pin and projection at the top.
2. Install the thermostat into the thermostat case, aligning the projection on the gasket to the thermostat case.
