Description of On-Board Diagnostics - ABS

FOREWORD
- Thoroughly read and understand the basic flow of troubleshooting to properly perform the procedures.
- Before performing the steps in Diagnosis Symptom, perform the On-board Diagnostic Test. To check the DTC, follow the OBD Test steps.

ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (OBD) TEST DESCRIPTION
- The On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) test inspects the integrity and function of the ABS and outputs the test results when requested by the specific tests.
On-board diagnostic test also:
- Provides a quick end inspection of the ABS.
- Is usually performed at the start of each diagnostic procedure.
- Provides verification after repairs to ensure that no other faults occurred during service.
