High Pressure Safety Valve HVAC: Service and Repair
PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION WITH (KL) 2.5L1. Remove the cooler hose (high).
CAUTION: If moisture or foreign material enters the refrigeration cycle, cooling ability will be lowered and abnormal noise will occur. Always immediately plug all open fittings after removing any refrigeration cycle parts to keep moisture or foreign material out of the cycle.
2. Remove as indicated in the table. Do not allow compressor oil to spill. Immediately plug all open fittings to keep moisture out of the system.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Pressure relief valve installation note
- Apply compressor oil to the O-ring and connect the joint.
