Driver/Vehicle Information Display: Testing and Inspection

INFORMATION DISPLAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Remove the meter hood.
2. Connect the information display connector and A/C amplifier connectors.




3. Measure the voltage at the information display terminals as indicated below.

NOTE: Voltage at terminals G, I, K, and M cannot be measured because they are used for serial communication. To inspect terminals G, I, K, and M, refer to TROUBLE CODE DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES.

4. If not specified, inspect the parts listed under "Inspection area" and the related wiring harnesses.
5. If the parts and wiring harnesses are okay but the system still does not work properly, replace the information display.
