9. TCS Light Flashes When TCS Is Not Activated During Driving

CAUTION: For the steps which have an asterisk (*), Inspect the connection of the connector with the terminal and for any damage first. If the connection Is poor, securely connect them, or repair or replace the appropriate parts as necessary. Wiggle and pull the wire harness to inspect each wire for corrosion, bent or loose terminals and poor wire terminal crimps.




CAUTION: Recheck the diagnostic trouble code after repair completion.

NOTE:
- When tires of different sizes are used or tire air pressure is insufficient, the TCS may activate. While the TCS is operating, TCS OFF switch cannot be selected until the operation has been completed.
- When wheel spinning occurs, the TCS indicator light flashes. It indicates that the TCS system is operating normally. If flashing is observed too often, however, inspect the above items.
- If any symptoms have occurred in the past but are now okay, malfunction of related harness could be the possible cause and thus ABS CM is normal.
