IAC Idle Air Control Valve

IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE RESISTANCE TEST

1. Verify that the ignition switch is off.
2. Disconnect the idle air control valve connector.




3. Measure the resistance of the idle air control valve by using an ohmmeter.

Specification: 7.7 - 9.3 ohms at 23°C (73°F)

4. If not as specified, replace the idle air control valve.
