Throttle Cable/Linkage: Testing and Inspection

1. Verify that the throttle valve is closed throttle position.
2. Measure the free play of the accelerator cable.

Free Play
1 - 3 mm {0.04 - 0.11 in}

3. If not as specified, adjust by turning locknut A.
4. Depress the accelerator pedal fully. Verify that the throttle valve is wide open throttle.
5. Adjust with bolt B as necessary.
