Fuel Injector Fitting (Fuel Leakage Test)

WARNING
- Fuel can ignite and cause serious injuries or death and damage if fuel is spilled over a hot engine. Always carry out the following procedure with the engine stopped.




1. After installation of the fuel injector, connect fuel hoses as shown in the figure.

CAUTION
- Misconnecting the data link connector terminals will possibly cause a malfunction. Properly connect the specified terminals only.




2. Connect the data link connector terminals F/P and GND with a jumper wire.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON and inspect for fuel leaks from the fuel distributor component.
4. If leaks are found, inspect the fuel injector.
