Oil Cooler: Service and Repair

1. On models with anti-theft audio system, refer to Technician Safety Information.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable, then drain engine coolant into suitable container.
3. Remove righthand splash shield.
4. Remove oil filter, then oil cooler hose.
5. Remove insulator, then oil cooler.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Fill engine with suitable engine coolant as specified.
b. Start engine and check for oil and coolant leaks. Repair as necessary.
