Radiator Cap: Testing and Inspection

RADIATOR CAP VALVE
1. Remove the radiator cap.





2. Attach the radiator cap to a radiator cap tester with the Special Service Tool (SST). Apply pressure gradually to 94 - 122 kPa (13.5 - 17.7 psi).
3. Verify that the pressure is held for at least 10 seconds.
