Troubleshooting Notes

Some of the electrical components of the TCS are shared with the ABS and engine control. Malfunction of the TCS electrical components is judged by the on-board diagnosis function within the powertrain control module and/or ABS/TCS control module. Malfunctions are indicated by the Warning light in the instrument panel. The technician can locate the malfunctions by using the Special Service Tool (SST) (NGS set).
