Pressure Control Valve Inspection
1. Remove the pressure control valve.2. Attach an air hose to the SST.
3. Set the SST to port A and plug port B as shown in the figure.
4. Verify that there is airflow from port D when pressure of +0.98 kPa (+7.4 mmHg, +0.29 inHg) is applied to port A.
5. If there is no airflow, replace the pressure control valve.
6. Set the SST to port B, C and plug port A as shown in the figure.
7. Verify that there is airflow from port D when pressure of +0.98 kPa (+7.4 mmHg, +0.29 inHg) is applied to port B, C.
8. If there is no airflow, replace the pressure control valve.
9. Set the SST to port A, C and plug port B as shown in the figure.
10. Verify that there is no airflow from port D when pressure of +0.98 kPa (+7.4 mmHg, +0.29 inHg) is applied to port A, C.
11. If there is airflow, replace the pressure control valve.
12. Set the SST to port D and plug port B as shown in the figure.
13. Verify that there is airflow from port A when pressure of +0.98 kPa (+7.4 mmHg, +0.29 inHg) is applied to port D.
14. If there is no airflow, replace the pressure control valve.
15. Set the SST to port B as shown in the figure.
16. Verity that there is airflow from port D when pressure of +0.98 kPa (+7.4 mmHg, +0.29 inHg) is applied to port B.
NOTE: Airflow amount is small on this step.
17. If there is no airflow, replace the pressure control valve.
