Airbag Disarming

1. Place ignition switch in the Lock position.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable. To prevent contact between battery and battery ground cable, cover battery ground cable terminal with electrical tape.
3. Remove right side panel from center console.
4. Disconnect the SAS unit connector, Fig. 3.




5. Wait at least 10 minutes before performing diagnostic or service procedures.
