Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

1. Connect special tools to data link connector and battery as shown in Fig. 15, then place diagnostic tool in ABS mode.

2. Enter correct vehicle model, engine and year, then follow diagnostic tool prompts to establish a diagnostic data link with anti-lock brake module.
3. If one or more diagnostic trouble codes are displayed, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code Interpretation for further information regarding specific diagnostic trouble codes.
