Fuel Delivery and Air Induction: Service and Repair

WARNING: Fuel line spills and leaks are dangerous. Fuel can ignite and cause serious injuries or death and damage. Fuel can also irritate skin and eyes. To prevent this, always complete the "Fuel Line Safety Procedures" SEE Fuel Pressure Release.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove in the order shown in the figure, referring to Removal note.
3. Visually check each part for damage. Replace if necessary.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

5. Accelerator cable
6. Fuel pipes
7. Pipe
8. Harness
9. EGR control valve
10. EGR pipe
11. Intake manifold
12. Vacuum chamber

15. Fuel distributor assembly
16. Air duct
17. Fresh-air duct
Removal note
Water hose
Before disconnecting the water hoses, drain the coolant from radiator.
Fuel hose
Before disconnecting the fuel hoses, perform "Fuel Line Safety Procedures" SEE Fuel Pressure Release.
