Fuel Leakage Test

Fuel leakage test
1. Remove the fuel distributor assembly from the intake manifold.

Connect Fuel Hoses As Shown:

2. Connect the fuel hoses as shown.

View: How To Run Fuel Pump With Jumper Wire:

3. Connect data link connector terminals F/P and GND by using a jumper wire.
4. Turn the ignition switch to ON and check for fuel leaks from the fuel injectors.

Fuel leakage: Less than 1 drop/2 minutes

5. Turn off the ignition switch and disconnect the jumper wire.

Look For Leaks Between Injector O-rings And Fuel Distributor:

6. If not as specified, remove the leaking fuel injector and check the fuel injector fitting.
7. Install the fuel injector.
8. Recheck the fuel injector for fuel leakage.
9. If leakage still occurs, replace the fuel injector.
