Dropping Resistor: Testing and Inspection

DROPPING RESISTOR
Inspection
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the dropping resistor connector.




3. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the resistor.

Resistance 11.4-12.6 Ohms

4. If not correct, replace the dropping resistor.
5. Connect the dropping resistor connector.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
