Canister Purge Solenoid: Testing and Inspection

PURGE SOLENOID VALVE
Inspection
1. Remove the purge solenoid valve.
2. Apply battery positive voltage to terminal A and ground terminal B of the solenoid valve. Verity that air flows as shown below.







3. If not as specified, replace the purge solenoid valve.
