Temperature Gauge: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove instrument cluster as described in appropriate chassis section, then connect B+ to instrument cluster terminal 2G and ground to terminal 2I, Fig. 20.
2. Connect special tool positive lead to instrument cluster terminal 2E, Fig. 20, and negative lead to ground.
3. Ensure gauge indicates hot when special tool resistance setting is 19.0 ohms and cold when setting is 153.0 ohms.
4. If results are not as specified, replace gauge.
