1. Remove snap rings and dust seals from each piston bore, Fig. 7. Ensure seals are not damaged or leaking.2. Gently drive pistons out of bores by applying compressed air to hydraulic line port. Use tool No. 49-T033-001, or equivalent, to prevent pistons from popping out of bores and causing damage.
3. Remove piston seals from caliper bore grooves using tool No. 49-0208-701A, or equivalent, then remove bleeder screw from caliper body. Ensure caliper body is not damaged, excessively worn or rusted.
4. Reverse procedure to assemble, noting the following:
a. Apply clean brake fluid to caliper pistons before installation.
b. Tighten bleeder screw to specifications shown in Fig. 7.
