Water Pump: Service and Repair

Fig. 19 Water Pump Removal:

1. Deactivate audio anti-theft function as outlined under Technician Safety Information, before disconnecting battery.
2. Remove timing belt.
3. Remove water pump assembly and rubber seal, Fig. 19.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten bolts to specifications.
5. Reactivate audio anti-theft function as outlined under Technician Safety Information.
