Throttle Body: Description and Operation

Throttle Body:

PURPOSE
Regulates the amount of air allowed into the engine depending on the demand for power.

LOCATION
Left end of intake manifold dynamic chamber.

OPERATION
The throttle body consists of a single throttle valve in the housing. Linkage and a cable connect throttle valve to the accelerator pedal.
