Fuel Supply Line: Description and Operation

Fuel Hoses:

WARNING: Never use standard type fuel hose for fuel injection applications. Standard hose will burst, creating hazard of personal injury and fire.


PURPOSE
Safely transfer fuel through the system as required.

CONSTRUCTION
Fuel hose is constructed of gasoline and solvent resistant rubber, reinforced with braided glass or synthetic fibers. Though similar in appearance, hoses for fuel injection and standard fuel hoses are not the same. To withstand the high pressures inherent in fuel injection systems, fuel injection hose is manufactured with more braided fiber reinforcement than standard hose.
