Leakage Test

Fuel Rail (Delivery Pipe) W/Injectors Attached For Testing:

WARNING: Be extremely careful when working with fuel. Keep sparks and open flames away.

1. Remove injectors and delivery pipe as an assembly.
2. Wire injectors to delivery pipe.

CAUTION: Fix injectors firmly to prevent fuel pressure from blowing them off.

Energizing Fuel Pump At Diagnostic Connector:

3. Connect diagnosis connector F/P and GND terminals with jumper wire and turn ignition ON.
4. Tilt injectors approximately 60° to the side and verify that no fuel leaks from injector nozzles.
5. Replace any leaking injectors.

NOTE: A drop of fuel after 2 minutes is acceptable.

6. Turn ignition OFF and remove jumper wire.
