Evaporative Check Valve: Description and Operation

Component Locations:

TWO-WAY CHECK VALVE

Purpose
This valve controls pressure in the fuel tank by allowing air to enter or exit when in-tank vacuum or pressure reach specified levels.

Location
Rear side of fuel tank.

CHECK-AND-CUT VALVE

Purpose
This valve also helps control in-tank pressure. In addition, it prevents fuel leakage in event of vehicle roll-over.

Location
Left side of fuel tank.
