DESCRIPTION





A conical shaped filter is installed in the forward clutch circuit of some LA4A-EL transaxle cases (Refer to Fig. 1).The purpose of this filter is to remove contaminants remaining in The transaxle after assembly. This filter does not need replacing during transaxle servicing.

DURING SERVICING

Inspect the filter.

^ If the filter is damaged, discard and reassemble transaxle.

^ If the filter is not damaged, clean in solvent and install into the forward clutch circuit
