Procedures
OIL PUMP DISASSEMBLY / ASSEMBLY
1. Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.
2. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
OIL PUMP INSPECTION
Rotor Clearance Inspection
^ Measure the following clearance. Replace the rotor and/or pump body as necessary.
Standard tip clearance: 0.130 - 0.206 mm (0.0051 - 0.0081 inch)
Maximum tip clearance: 0.30 mm (0.012 inch)
Standard body clearance: 0.113 - 0.186 mm (0.0045 - 0.0073 inch)
Maximum body clearance: 0.22 mm (0.009 inch)
Standard side clearance: 0.035 - 0.095 mm (0.0014 - 0.0037 inch)
Maximum side clearance: 0.14 mm (0.006 inch)
Plunger Spring Inspection
^ Apply pressing force to the pressure spring and inspect the spring height. Replace the plunger spring as necessary.
Pressing Force: 97.68 - 107.48 Nm (9.96 - 10.96 kgs, 21.91 - 24.11 lbs.)
Standard Height: 33.50 mm (1.319 inch)
