Ball Joint, Lower

1. Raise vehicle on suitable hoist and support with stands.
2. Remove tire and wheel assembly.
3. Remove stabilizer bar control link, refer to Stabilizer Bar.
4. Remove lower strut mounting bolts.
5. Remove lower ball joint mounting bolts, then the ball joint from control arm.
6. Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
a. Insert suitable grease inside of dust boot.
b. Using installer tool No. 49H028301, or equivalent, press dust boot onto ball joint, Fig. 3.
