General Procedures (Before and After Air Bag Service)
Before Servicing1. Deactivate the audio antitheft system, if installed.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the lower panel.
4. Disconnect the orange and blue clock spring connectors.
5. Remove the glove compartment and undercover.

6. Disconnect the orange and blue passenger-side air bag module connectors.
After Servicing
1. Connect the negative battery cable.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Verify that the air bag system warning light illuminates for 4-8 seconds and then goes off.
