Rollover Valve: Description and Operation

Fuel Vapor Valve:

PURPOSE
Prevents liquid fuel from escaping fuel tank in event of vehicle rollover. Also permits vapors to exit tank into evaporative system.

LOCATION
Top of fuel tank.

OPERATION
Valve permits evaporative vapors to exit tank and contains a gravity sensitive shut-off to prevent liquid fuel from passing when it is upside down.
