Fuel Pressure Control Solenoid: Testing and Inspection

View: Testing The Pressure Regulator Control (PRC) Solenoid Valve:

1. Disconnect vacuum hose from solenoid valve and vacuum pipe.
2. Blow through valve from port "A" and check that air flows from port "B."
3. Disconnect valve electrical connector.

View: Testing The Pressure Regulator Control (PRC) Solenoid Valve:

4. Connect 12 Volt power source and ground to solenoid terminals.
5. Blow through valve from port "A" and check that air flows from valve air filter.
6. Replace valve if it does not perform as specified.
