Hold Pressure

WARNING: Before performing this procedure, release fuel pressure.

NOTE: Obtain audio anti-theft access code before disconnecting battery cables.


1. Disconnect negative battery terminal.

2. Install pressure gauge.
3. Reconnect battery.

Data Link Connector:

4. Connect data link connector terminals F/P and GND with jumper wire.
5. To run pump, turn ignition "ON" for 10 seconds.
6. Turn ignition "OFF" and remove jumper wire.
7. After 5 minutes, fuel pressure should be more than 150 kPa (21 psi).
8. If not as specified, check:
- Fuel pump hold pressure
- Pressure regulator hold pressure
- Injector leakage
