Driver Side

1. Ensure battery ground cable is disconnected.
2. Remove air bag module to steering wheel fasteners, Fig. 8 through 10.
















3. Pull air bag module outward and disconnect electrical connector, then remove air bag module.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. On Millenia and 626 models, tighten fasteners in order shown, Fig. 11 to specifications.






b. On MX-6 models, tighten fasteners in order shown, Fig. 12 to specifications.

c. On Protege models, tighten fasteners in order shown, Fig. 13 to specifications.






d. Tighten module mounting fasteners to specifications.
