Fig. 7 Rear Disc Brake Pad Replacement Procedure:

1. Raise and support front of vehicle.
2. Remove tire and wheel assembly.
3. Remove and install parts in order as shown in Fig. 7, noting the following:




a. To pull the brake caliper piston back to remove pads, turn manual adjustment gear counterclockwise with allen wrench.


Installation Note

Manual adjustment




1. Turn the manual adjustment gear clockwise until the brake pads just touch the disc plate.
2. Return the manual adjustment gear counterclockwise 1/3 turn.
