Fuel Pressure Regulator: Service and Repair

1. Relieve fuel system pressure.

Fuel Pump Electrical Connector And Harness (Under Rear Seat):

^ Remove rear seat cushion and disconnect fuel pump electrical connector.
^ Start engine and let it run until it dies
^ Carefully remove hose from fuel filter.

Fuel Rails And Injectors:

2. Remove intake air hoses.
3. Disconnect vacuum and fuel hose from regulator.
4. Remove regulator and O-ring.
5. Install in reverse order. Tighten screws to 61 - 87 inlbs (6.9 - 9.8 Nm)

INSTALLATION NOTES

Always use a new O-ring and lightly lubricate it with clean engine oil before installation.
