ABS Light: Testing and Inspection

Fig. 55 Anti-lock Warning Light Terminal Identification.:

a. Remove instrument cluster.
b. Connect 12 volts to terminal J and ground to terminal E. Ensure ABS warning light illuminates, Fig. 55.
c. If there is no illumination, check the meter fuse, bulb and wiring harness.
d. If there is illumination, check wiring harness between warning light and control unit or hydraulic unit.
