Fuel Pressure Pulsation Damper: Service and Repair

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Fuel Pump Connector:

To reduce the possibility of injury or fire, before removing the pulsation damper, release the fuel pressure from the fuel system in the following manner.
- Disconnect fuel pump connector.
- Start engine and idle until it dies.
- Turn ignition switch OFF.

Warning: When replacing fuel system parts, keep sparks, cigarettes, and open flames away from the fuel and related parts.





1. Disconnect the fuel hoses.
2. Remove the pulsation damper.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Tightening torque: 7.8 - 11 Nm (80 - 110 cm.kg, 69 - 95 in.lb)
