Power Steering Pressure Control Valve: Testing and Inspection

Fig. 44 P/S Motor Test Connections:

1. Turn ignition On, measure voltage between terminals D, F, G and H and ground, Fig. 44. Voltage should be battery voltage.
2. Start engine and measure voltage between terminals D, F, G and H and ground. Terminals D and F should measure 14 volts. Terminals G and H should measure 12 volts.
3. If voltage is not as specified, replace pump or repair wiring harness.
