Throttle Body: Service and Repair

1. Remove air duct and air funnel from throttle body.

2. Disconnect electrical connection, throttle cable, vacuum hoses, and water hose from throttle body.

3. Remove cold start valve from throttle body, with fuel line attached.

4. Remove throttle body from dynamic chamber.

Install in reverse order.

INSTALLATION NOTES

1. Use new throttle body to dynamic chamber and cold start injector gaskets when re-installing.

6. Tighten nuts and bolts to the specified torque.

COLD START VALVE BOLTS
6 - 8 ft.lbs (8 - 11 Nm)

THROTTLE BODY TO DYNAMIC CHAMBER BOLTS
14 - 19 ft.lbs (19 - 25 Nm)
