Rollover Valve: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove check and cut valve.

2. Connect vacuum/pressure gauge as shown in upper left of illustration.

3. Blow through valve from (A), Fig. 32. Valve should open with pressure of 0.14 - 0.71 psi (0.98 - 4.91 kPa).

4. Remove gauge and connect it as shown in lower right of illustration.

5. Apply pressure through valve from (B). Valve should open when pressure is 0.87 - 1.0 psi (5.37 - 6.87 kPa).

If valve does not operate as described, replace it.



NOTE: This test must be performed with valve positioned horizontally.
