ABS Light: Testing and Inspection

1. Check that the other warning lights illuminate. If not, check the Meter 10A fuse.
2. If fuse is satisfactory, turn ignition switch to the ON position.

3. Ground the L/Y terminal of the check connector (at control unit) with a jumper wire, then check if the warning light illuminates, Fig. 59.
4. If bulb does not illuminate, check bulb and harness, then for 12 volts at F(LY) control unit connector terminal.
5. If voltage is not as specified, check harness from bulb to control unit. If voltage is as specified, replace control unit.
