1. Remove check valve from vehicle Fig. 41.
2. Blow air through valve inlet port and ensure air flows through outlet port.
3. Block valve outlet port and ensure air now flows through valve air filter.
4. With outlet port still blocked, suck through inlet port and ensure air is drawn up through valve air filter.
